Work Group for Histiocytic Disorders of Adult Patients
The work group was built within the the Austrian Society for Hematology and Oncology (Österreichische Gesellschaft für Hämatologie und Onkologie - OeGHO). It aims at optimising patient care, enforcing cooperation with other medical societies and registering adult patients with Langerhans cell histiocytosis.
French Study Group for Histiocytosis - Groupe d'Etude des Histiocytoses (G.E.H.)
The G.E.H. is an association of health professionals. On the one hand they want to improve the medical care for patients suffering from histiocytosis and on the other hand they want to enforce medical and scientific research of pathologies. At present, pediatricians, internists, pneumologists, neurologists, dermatologists and pathologists join the association which is a registered charity in France (loi 1901).
